Charleans Celebrate 50th Anniversary with Projects

The 76 set of Charleans, referred to as Stanza 726, celebrated their 50th graduation anniversary with the theme “Together, Taking St. Charles To The Top.” The celebration included the commissioning of several projects aimed at uplifting their alma mater, St. Charles Osogbo. These projects, costing approximately N4 million, involved reactivating the water tank base of the school's main borehole, repairing a 1kva solar energy machine, supplying two extra-large Storex tanks, and increasing distribution points from five to ten, along with a six-month maintenance guarantee.

Additionally, a security post was provided to enhance the school's security measures. The event took place at the SCOBA Alumni Hall within the school premises, where Solomon Jemilehin, the coordinator of Stanza 726, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to celebrate their 50th anniversary, noting that 20 of their original 100 members have passed away.

Dr. Tunde Owojori delivered the keynote address on behalf of the SCOBA Global President, Atilola Odudare, praising Stanza 726 for their contributions to SCOBA's successes.
