Stakeholders Launch 10-Point Digital Health Agenda

At the Insights Learning Forum (ILF) 2026 held in Abuja, stakeholders including governments, development partners, funders, innovators, and healthcare organizations announced a 10-point digital health agenda to accelerate healthcare transformation across Africa. The forum, hosted by eHealth Africa and the Dala Africa Group, gathered over 400 delegates under the theme “Insights.

Partnerships. Inclusion.

Interoperability. Investment.” The commitments focus on expanding financing for scalable health innovations, strengthening primary healthcare, and advancing maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health.

Other commitments include supporting women-led entrepreneurship, promoting ethical health data sharing, and developing interoperable digital health systems. Dr. Obi Adigwe, representing the Coordinating Minister of Health, emphasized the need for stronger collaboration to improve Nigeria’s health system.

Dr. Iziaq Adekunle Salako, Minister of State for Health and Social Welfare, reiterated the government's commitment to resilient health systems. Dr. Muntaqa Umar-Sadiq and Muyi Aina also stressed the importance of coordinated actions and partnerships in achieving sustainable health system transformation.
