STEM Africa Fest 2026 Empowers 3,800 Young Innovators

The STEM Africa Fest 2026, held in Nigeria, empowered over 3,800 participants, including children, parents, and teachers, through hands-on learning in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). The event, themed ‘Building Future Innovators’, marked the sixth edition of Africa’s largest STEM festival for children.

It featured 46 exhibitors and welcomed participants from over 119 schools for a day filled with discovery, experimentation, and creativity. Children engaged in building, testing, and problem-solving, experiencing innovation through robotics, artificial intelligence, coding, engineering, science laboratories, drone technology, and entrepreneurship.

Mrs. Jadesola Adedeji, Co-founder of STEM Africa Fest, articulated the vision behind the festival, emphasizing the importance of allowing children to explore and discover independently, aiming to bring STEM to life beyond traditional classroom settings.
