2026 STEM Africa Fest to Foster Critical Thinking Skills

The 2026 STEM Africa Fest, announced at a press conference in Lagos, is designed to develop critical thinkers and problem solvers among Nigerian children. Co-founders Jadesola Adedeji and Titi Adewusi emphasized the importance of experiential learning in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

The event will feature eight learning labs where students will engage in practical experiences, including robotics, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), 3D printing, gaming, drone technology, electronics, coding, and artificial intelligence (AI). Adedeji stated that the initiative aims to help students learn better by applying practical skills, thereby fostering analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

The theme of the event is "Build Tomorrow," reflecting the goal of preparing children to become leaders and innovators in the future.
