Sterling Bank and EDC Partner to Certify Non-oil Export Academy Graduates

Sterling Bank has signed a partnership with the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC) at Pan-Atlantic University to certify graduates of the Non-oil Export Academy. This collaboration marks a significant step in Sterling Bank's efforts to enhance Nigeria's non-oil export capabilities and decrease the country's dependence on crude oil revenue.

The initiative aims to educate Nigerian exporters on global standards, strengthen business structures, and enhance competitiveness in international markets. Abubakar Suleiman, the Managing Director and CEO of Sterling Bank, emphasized the bank's commitment to creating an ecosystem for non-oil exports.

Dr. Nneka Okekearu, Director of EDC, expressed enthusiasm for the collaboration, highlighting the importance of empowering entrepreneurs and enhancing export competitiveness.
