ACF Criticizes Kwankwaso's Historical Comparisons

Tukur Mohammed Baba, serving as the scribe of the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), publicly admonished Rabiu Kwankwaso, a presidential candidate from the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), for his comparisons to historical Northern leaders such as Sarduana Sokoto and Aminu Kano. During an interview on Arise Television, Baba stated that Kwankwaso's claims of being a new messiah for the North are misguided and that it is inappropriate to compare oneself to figures who operated in a different historical context.

He emphasized that such comparisons reflect a significant misunderstanding of the current political landscape and could lead to delusions about Kwankwaso's relevance in contemporary politics.
