ADC Warns Ex-Candidate in Sokoto State for False Chairmanship Claims

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Sokoto State has issued a warning to ex-candidate Bello Isyaku for falsely presenting himself as the party's chairman. The current chairman, Muhammad Umar, clarified that Isyaku was removed due to disciplinary actions taken against him for seeking the party's 2023 governorship ticket without proper clearance.

The party emphasized the need for a smooth transition of leadership and cautioned against unauthorized claims. The legitimacy of the party's leadership in Sokoto State was reaffirmed during a recent mini-convention in Zaria, where decisions were made to align with the national directives.
