Nigerian Government Mandates Final Year Project Submission for NYSC Mobilization

The Nigerian government has mandated students to submit their final year projects for NYSC mobilization under the NERD policy. This directive, effective from October 6, aims to combat certificate fraud and preserve intellectual assets.

The policy requires students to deposit their academic outputs, including thesis projects, as part of quality assurance measures. Minister of Education Tunji Alausa emphasized the importance of this submission, stating it is a mandatory requirement.

The NERD spokesperson, Haula Galadima, highlighted that submissions must include student details, supervisor information, and department heads. This move aligns with the government's efforts to enhance educational integrity and combat fraudulent practices.
