In a decisive match, substitute Johan Manzambi inspired Switzerland to a 4-1 victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina, helping secure their advancement to the World Cup last 32. Manzambi, who came off the bench in the 74th minute, scored his first goal just 46 seconds later, volleying past Bosnia's goalkeeper Nikola Vasilj after a knockdown in the penalty area.

The match saw Bosnia reduced to 10 men following Tarik Muharemovic's straight red card for bringing down Breel Embolo. Ruben Vargas doubled Switzerland's lead with a precise curled finish in the 90th minute, while Manzambi added his second goal shortly after.
