Sule Swears in Eight New Commissioners in Nasarawa

On Wednesday, Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State conducted a swearing-in ceremony for eight new commissioners as members of the State Executive Council (SEC) in Lafia. The newly appointed commissioners include Muhammad Habeeb Nagogo for Tertiary and Technical Education, Ahmed Yakubu Mohammed for Budget and Economic Planning, Hon. Mohammed Baba Shehu for NGOs and Disaster Management, Hon. Mohammed Iyimoga Oyigye for Agriculture and Security, Adamu Rabecca Kpadji for Women Affairs, Social Development, and Humanitarian Affairs, Nawani Aboki for Information, Culture, and Tourism, Jibril Abdullahi Ibrahim FCNA for Youth and Sports Development, and Ashefo Daniel Paul, Ph.D for Lands, Survey, and Physical Planning.

In addition to the commissioners, six new permanent secretaries, 11 special advisers, a member of the Nasarawa State Judicial Service Commission, and a member of the Nasarawa State Independent Electoral Commission were also sworn in. Governor Sule urged the appointees to uphold accountability and transparency, stating that his administration would not tolerate corruption.
