Super Eagles Coach Demands $130,000 Monthly Salary

Eric Chell, the head coach of the Super Eagles, has submitted a proposal to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) demanding a monthly salary of $130,000 as part of his contract extension negotiations. Chell, who signed a two-year deal in January 2025 with an option for an additional year, has outlined 19 specific conditions that he wants fulfilled to continue leading the national team.

Among these demands are provisions for a private SUV driver, secure housing, constant electricity, and reliable internet access. He also requests flight tickets for his wife and two children, as well as tools for player monitoring and training equipment.

Chell seeks full control over the selection of friendly matches and the right to design player development programs. He has called for monthly coordination meetings with the NFF.

As of now, the NFF has not made an official statement regarding whether they will accept or reject these conditions.
