Benjamin Tanimu Returns to Singida Black Stars on Two-Year Deal

Benjamin Tanimu, a 23-year-old defender, has completed his return to Singida Black Stars, a Tanzanian Premier League club, by signing a two-year contract for an undisclosed fee. Tanimu initially joined Singida Black Stars from Nigeria Premier Football League side Bendel Insurance in February 2024.

His strong performances in Tanzania led to a transfer to Crawley Town in England on a two-year deal in September 2024. Following his time in England, he moved to Moroccan club Maghreb Fès in July 2025, where he played during the 2025/26 season.

Tanimu's return to Singida Black Stars marks a significant step in his career as he prepares to join his new teammates at the club's pre-season training camp in Rwanda, gearing up for the 2026/27 campaign. Additionally, Tanimu has represented Nigeria at the senior international level, making three appearances for the Super Eagles.
