Brentford Signs Super Eagles Defender Benjamin Fredrick

Brentford has officially announced the signing of Super Eagles defender Benjamin Fredrick to a new four-year contract, which includes an option for an additional year. The 21-year-old center-back will join Keith Andrew's squad as they prepare for the 2026-27 season.

Fredrick's advancement to the first team marks a significant milestone in his development, following a commendable period with Brentford's development team and a loan experience at FCV Dender in Belgium during the 2025-26 season, where he made 15 appearances in the Belgian Pro League and Croky Cup. Unfortunately, his season was curtailed due to a knee injury, which also hindered his participation in crucial Super Eagles qualification matches.

As he recovers, Fredrick aims to reclaim his position within Brentford's first team and the national team framework, underscoring the club's faith in his potential as he embarks on this new phase of his career.
