The Super Falconets of Nigeria qualified for the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup after a 3-2 aggregate victory over Malawi. The decisive match took place in Lilongwe at the Bingu National Stadium.

Malawi took an early lead with Faith Chimzimu scoring within nine minutes, igniting hope among the home crowd. Nigeria nearly equalized when Ifeanyi Nkwocha's effort hit the woodwork.

Malawi maintained a 1-0 lead at halftime, putting pressure on Nigeria. However, Chimzimu scored again shortly after the restart, leveling the aggregate score and threatening Nigeria's flawless qualification record.

Coach Mose Aduku made a crucial substitution, bringing in Precious Oscar, who capitalized on defensive hesitation in the 62nd minute to restore Nigeria's advantage.
