Super Falcons Unveil New Jersey for WAFCON 2026

The Super Falcons of Nigeria, the defending champions of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), will debut a new jersey adorned with 10 stars at the upcoming 2026 tournament. These stars symbolize the team's record 10 titles in Africa's premier women's football competition, making them the most successful team in WAFCON history.

The new jersey was first worn during a friendly match where the Super Falcons secured a 2-1 victory against the Twiga Stars of Tanzania. Under the management of Justine Madugu, the team aims to extend their record by winning an 11th title at the WAFCON 2026 finals.

The tournament is set to take place in Morocco, commencing on Saturday, with Nigeria's first match against the debutant Scorchers of Malawi scheduled for Tuesday at the Al Madina Stadium in Rabat.
