Super Falcons to Host WAFCON-Bound Team in Friendlies

The Super Falcons are set to prepare for the upcoming Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) by hosting a WAFCON-bound team for two friendly matches in Nigeria during the next international break from June 7 to June 14, 2026. Originally, the Super Falcons were scheduled to face Jamaica; however, Jamaica withdrew from the match due to administrative issues.

The Super Falcons missed the March international break and are gearing up to defend their continental crown at WAFCON, which will take place in Morocco from July 25 to August 16, 2026. In the tournament, they will compete in Group C alongside Egypt, Zambia, and Malawi.
