Security Guard Killed by Cultists in Lagos Estate Attack

On August 21, 2026, a security officer identified as Stanley was killed by suspected cult members at Royale Estate in the Sangotedo area of Lagos. The assailants shot Stanley multiple times before escaping on a motorcycle between 10 pm and 11 pm.

A source familiar with the incident reported that the gunmen entered the estate and began shooting without warning, specifically targeting the security guard on duty.
