Symmex Launches Huraflow Me to Boost NAFDAC Efficiency

Symmex, a technology startup, unveiled its Huraflow Me platform on April 10, aimed at supporting the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) and enhancing drug production in Nigeria. The platform addresses the challenges of manual processes in the pharmaceutical sector by integrating digital interfaces for real-time monitoring and compliance.

Founder and CEO Olumid Awoyemi highlighted that the system allows for remote inspections and access to electronic records, improving efficiency and patient safety. The platform also aims to reduce the time and cost of drug formulation using artificial intelligence tailored to Nigeria's climate.

Chief Technology Officer Oduwol Oluwasegun emphasized that Huraflow simplifies manufacturing operations and strengthens regulatory processes. The company plans to engage with NAFDAC's director general to align regulatory frameworks and drive the platform's adoption across Nigeria's pharmaceutical and fast-moving consumer goods industries.
