Governor Mbah Urges Enugu Citizens to Own Achievements

During a thanksgiving mass held at the Government House Chapel in Enugu, Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State urged the people to take ownership of the achievements made by his administration over the past three years. He highlighted the need for citizens to consolidate progress and warned that failure to do so could lead to a regression to previous socio-economic conditions.

Mbah expressed concern about the potential loss of opportunities and the deterioration of infrastructure if complacency sets in, especially with the 2027 general elections approaching. He emphasized that the achievements of his administration should not be taken for granted and called for a collective effort to protect and strengthen the progress made.

Monsignor Obiora Ik, a Catholic priest, commended Mbah's leadership and noted the significant changes in the state. Mbah also referenced a recent visit by President Bola Tinubu, which brought together past leaders of the state, indicating a healthy political atmosphere.
