Ramsey Nouah: Talent Alone Isn't Enough for Success

Ramsey Nouah, a veteran Nollywood actor, shared insights on achieving lasting success in the film industry during an interview posted on Instagram on Tuesday. At 55 years old, Nouah reflected on his over three-decade career, emphasizing that talent alone is not enough for success.

He stated that discipline and consistency are crucial, especially when inspiration wanes. Nouah pointed out that many people mistakenly equate fame with success, failing to recognize the extensive effort, sacrifices, and challenges that occur behind the scenes.

He remarked, “A lot of people assume that success is like giving, but it’s not,” highlighting the unseen work involved. When asked about the difficulty of achieving versus maintaining success, he asserted that consistency is more important, as success can be fleeting.

He concluded that to maintain consistency, one must possess discipline. Nouah is known for his roles as an actor, director, and producer, with notable works including directing and producing "Living in Bondage" and starring in Netflix’s "Blood Sisters.".
