Tambuwal: EFCC Trying To Force Our Members To Leave Coalition – ADC Alleges Witch-Hunt

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has accused the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) of attempting to force its members to leave the coalition. The party's National Publicity Secretary revealed that three former governors, including Aminu Tambuwal, were invited by the EFCC for questioning regarding alleged fraudulent cash withdrawals during Tambuwal's tenure as Sokoto State Governor from 2015 to 2023.

Tambuwal was interrogated at the EFCC headquarters in Abuja. The ADC believes this is a witch-hunt to destabilize the coalition.

Sources within the coalition expressed concern over the EFCC's actions, with one source mentioning a suspected violation of the Money Laundering Prevention and Prohibition Act. The EFCC's move has reportedly caused panic within the coalition.
