Tambuwal Reveals What He Told EFCC During Arrest

Sokoto State Governor Aminu Tambuwal recently revealed details of his brief arrest and questioning by the EFCC. Tambuwal stated that he was invited by the commission on August 6 and was released after questioning on August 10.

Despite his legal team's appeals, the EFCC refused to vary his bail conditions, leading him to spend a night in detention before being released the next morning. Tambuwal questioned the timing of the EFCC's actions, hinting at political motives and accusing the Sokoto State government of orchestrating a biased inquiry against him.

He criticized the APC for selective justice and vowed to remain in the national rescue coalition. Tambuwal's ordeal sheds light on the ongoing political tensions and power struggles in Nigeria.
