Tango Brook Technologies Expands to Five African Nations

Tango Brook Technologies Limited, a Nigerian energy technology and intelligence company, has expanded its operations into five African countries within one year of launching its digital fuel payment solution. The company celebrated its first anniversary in Lagos, announcing plans to extend its reach to 15 African countries by 2027.

Obiajulu Wemambu, Managing Director for Africa at Tango Brook Technologies, stated that the company is positioning itself for a pan-African future, with upcoming expansions into The Gambia, South Africa, and other prospective markets. Wemambu highlighted a report from the African Development Bank, which indicated that Africa suffers energy losses of approximately 30 percent annually due to issues such as fraud in pump deliveries, including ghost deliveries, meter tampering, and smuggling.

The Tango App aims to provide businesses with accountability over energy spending and prevent leakages.
