Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Taraba State have purchased a governorship nomination form for David Kent, who is an aspirant for the 2027 elections. The form was presented to Kent on Saturday by Godwin Villannah, a former state secretary of the APC, at his residence in Jalingo.

According to a statement issued on Saturday by Kent's campaign organization, Villannah emphasized that the decision to purchase the form was driven by the need to encourage broader participation within the party. This act is seen as a gesture that reflects a commitment to internal democracy.

David Sabo Kent expressed gratitude to the group for their support, describing it as a demonstration of confidence in his leadership.
