Bwacha Critiques Kefas on Taraba's Infrastructure Crisis

On Wednesday, Emmanuel Bwacha, a senator and governorship aspirant from the People's Democratic Party (PDP), criticized the current governor of Taraba State, Agbu Kefas, for the state's deteriorating infrastructure and underdevelopment. Bwacha stated that despite a significant increase in federal allocations to the state over the past three years, there has been no visible project or tangible infrastructure development.

He emphasized that the situation in Taraba State has worsened, likening it to "fish jumping from the frying pan into the fire." Bwacha pointed out that the state received more federal allocations in the last three years than in the previous eight years combined, yet there is no evidence of any infrastructure projects being commissioned or ongoing since Kefas assumed office. He referenced the administrations of former governors Jolly Nyam, Danbaba Danfulani Suntai, and Darius Ishaku, indicating that the current administration has failed to build upon their efforts.
