Taraba State Launches Multi-Billion Naira Tourism Project

Taraba State Governor Agbu Kefa has launched an ambitious multi-billion naira agro-ecotourism project designed to enhance the state's economy, create significant job opportunities for youth, and help mitigate security challenges. This project, executed in partnership with La Campagn Tropicana Resort Group, involves the allocation of 2,500 hectares of land for the development of an agro-ecotourism resort.

The resort will be distributed across 12 sites in Taraba, including locations such as La Campagn Tropicana Agro-Ecotour Heritage Resort in Zangon Kombi, La Campagn Tropicana Nwonyo Lake Resort in Ibi, and several rest areas. Governor Kefa expressed satisfaction with the project's progress and emphasized its potential to transform Taraba into a leading tourist destination in Nigeria.

Wanl Akinboboy, the founder of La Campagn Tropicana, noted the project's significance in attracting youth to agriculture and tourism, aiming to alleviate poverty and promote heritage tourism.
