Taryor Gabriels Leads Bespoke Suit Masterclass in Nigeria

Taryor Gabriels, a renowned bespoke designer, led a masterclass titled "Curated Excellence" aimed at advancing tailoring skills within Nigeria's fashion industry. The event, organized in collaboration with Christian Design Hub, took place at Bridg Obsidian Creativ and attracted seventy design professionals from across the country.

Participants engaged in live garment critique sessions where Gabriels evaluated completed suits, providing detailed feedback on crucial aspects such as tailoring structure, balance, silhouette, lapel proportion, sleeve pitch, armhole construction, fabric selection, and overall craftsmanship. The masterclass emphasized the precision required in the global tailoring industry and highlighted the importance of creativity, technical discipline, and mastery of garment construction.

Gabriels stressed that the future of African tailoring relies on these fundamentals. The event also aimed to strengthen collaboration within the tailoring community and support mentorship initiatives, furthering the mission of Christian Design Hub to develop talent and elevate bespoke tailoring standards in the fashion industry.
