TASFUED Announces New Leadership Appointments

The Tai Solarin Federal University of Education, located in Ijagun, Ogun State, has undergone a significant administrative overhaul with the appointment of new leaders. Professor Simisaye Olakunle has been appointed as the new Provost of the Postgraduate College, while Professor Latifat Erinle-Ibrahim will serve as Deputy Provost.

This announcement was made by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Samuel Oladipo, who emphasized that these appointments are part of a broader strategy to strengthen academic leadership and improve administrative efficiency. Professor Olakunle Olagunju Balogun has been reappointed as Dean of Students’ Affairs, with Dr Anuoluwapo Feyikemi Awodoyin as Sub-Dean.

Other notable appointments include Professor Jimoh Owoyele as Director of Academic Planning and Quality Assurance, and Professor Adefunke Ekine as Director of Research and External Relations. The Vice-Chancellor acknowledged the contributions of outgoing academics and stated that the new appointments reflect the university's commitment to placing experienced individuals in key positions.
