NRS Launches Rev360 Tax Platform for Enhanced Revenue

The Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) officially announced the launch of Rev360, a next-generation tax administration platform, which will be implemented in phases. The rollout is designed to begin with medium and emerging taxpayers, as disclosed in a statement by NRS management on Thursday.

Zacch Adedeji, the Executive Chairman of NRS, emphasized that the development marks a significant milestone in the evolution of Nigeria's tax system, transitioning from a manual to a fully integrated, intelligent, taxpayer-centric system. Rev360 builds on previous advancements in digital tax administration, aiming for a seamless, transparent, and efficient approach to managing tax obligations.

The NRS has successfully completed a comprehensive nationwide readiness program to prepare stakeholders across the tax ecosystem for the platform's launch. Additionally, the NRS aims to ensure that taxpayers are well-informed about the platform's functionalities.

The agency is committed to continuous improvement and innovation in tax administration. This initiative aligns with the government's ambitious revenue target of N40.7 trillion by 2026, which seeks to strengthen Nigeria's fiscal position and reduce reliance on borrowing.
