Teacher Remanded for Alleged Sexual Abuse of Pupils

A senior magistrate court has remanded a private school teacher, identified as Kamal, for allegedly sexually abusing four minor pupils at Al Hade Private School in Ungogo Local Government Area, Kano State. The prosecuting counsel, Badamasi Gandu, informed the court that the children's mother first noticed bleeding in her daughter's private parts.

Upon questioning, the daughters, aged seven and five, along with two other sisters, disclosed the alleged sexual abuse by the teacher. A medical report confirmed the sexual assault of the four children.

Following the arraignment, the presiding magistrate ordered the remand of the teacher and adjourned the case until June 6 for further proceedings.
