Tears as Former Nigerian Governor Mana Dies in Abuja, Tinubu, Others Mourn

Former Nigerian Governor Colonel Mohammed Mana, who served as the military governor of Plateau state, has passed away in Abuja. President Bola Tinubu expressed his grief over Mana's death, noting his contributions to national development and service to Nigeria.

Mana, a former senator and APC chieftain, was praised for his dedication and pursuit of the common good. Tinubu extended condolences to Mana's family, friends, and the government of Adamawa state.

The funeral prayer for Mana was held at the Abuja National Mosque, following Islamic rites. Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau state described Mana's death as a monumental loss and emphasized his role in promoting peace and unity.

Other leaders, including the governor of Adamawa state, also mourned Mana's demise. The late administrator is survived by his wife and children.
