Teenager Arrested for Poisoning Uncle's Soup Over Snoring Issue in Japan

A high school student in Ichibara, Japan, was arrested for attempting to poison his uncle's soup due to the uncle's loud snoring. The teenager allegedly added a toxic oleander plant to the soup in an attempt to kill his uncle.

The uncle, upon tasting the soup, noticed an unusual flavor and experienced symptoms like mouth numbness and stomach pain, leading to medical attention. Fortunately, the uncle survived after samples of the soup revealed the presence of oleandrin, a lethal substance.

The teenager confessed to the police that he wanted to kill his uncle because of the snoring issue.
