Teesa Educ Launches 2026 Summer School for Youth Skills

Teesa Educ is set to unveil its 2026 Summer School program aimed at equipping children aged 7 to 18 with entrepreneurial and technology skills. The program will run in two cohorts from July 20 to August 7 and August 10 to August 28, 2026.

It will feature a business pitch competition designed to stimulate creativity, innovation, and problem-solving among participants. Teesa Educ's founder and CEO, Gladi Osim, explained that the initiative intends to provide engaging learning experiences beyond traditional summer school models, which typically focus on academics, arts, crafts, and sports.

The summer school will expand from two to five locations, including Bador, Ajah, Ikota, Egbu Road, and Owerri. Participants will undergo a pre-assessment to identify learning gaps, and the program will incorporate tracks in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, public speaking, technology, graphic design, and content creation.

A judging panel for the pitch competition will include notable figures such as Osayi Izedonmwen, co-founder of Flutterwave, and Iyinoluwa Aboyeji, founder of Future Africa.
