Norrie Defeats Duckworth to Reach Los Cabos Quarters

Cameron Norrie secured his spot in the quarter-finals of the Los Cabos Open with a straight-set victory over Australia's James Duckworth, winning 6-4, 6-4. The match took place in Mexico, where Norrie, the fifth seed, had to recover from a 3-0 deficit in the first set.

He broke Duckworth's serve twice in the second set to take a commanding 5-2 lead and managed to overcome a late challenge to serve out the match successfully. Norrie's victory follows his first-round win against Aleksandar Kovacevic.

He is currently the second-highest ranked player remaining in the tournament after top seed Jiri Lehecka was eliminated by Coleman Wong from Hong Kong, while Bernard Tomic, who will face Norrie next, upset fourth seed Karen Khachanov.
