Raducanu Seeks Coaching Guidance to Rediscover Game

Emma Raducanu, the British number one and 2021 US Open champion, has expressed her intention to "tap into a few people" as she aims to rediscover her natural playing style. In an interview with BBC Sport, Raducanu mentioned that she is open to the idea of having a full-time coach, although she does not want to be dictated to in her playing style.

She has previously worked with Francisco Roig, her seventh full-time coach, but their partnership ended due to disagreements over playing style. Raducanu emphasized the need to bring back her instinctive play and get back in touch with herself.

She noted that it may take time to relearn aspects of her game and that she is looking for someone who can support her without imposing strict guidelines. Raducanu also highlighted her positive experience with Alexi Canter and is considering consulting with various individuals as she prepares for her upcoming matches, including her first match at Indian Wells in California.
