Youths Demand Justice Crack's Release at Abuja Court

On Monday, tensions escalated at the Federal High Court in Abuja as youths confronted the Department of State Services (DSS) demanding the release of detained blogger Justice Crack. The incident occurred during the DSS's attempt to escort an influential figure following a court arraignment.

In response, a group of youths formed a human blockade around the DSS operatives, repeatedly chanting for Justice Crack's immediate release and describing his detention as unjust. The protestors expressed their desire to see the Minister of Justice and the Attorney General of the Federation, urging them to address what they termed a fundamental human rights issue.

Activists, including Omoyele Sowore and Peter Akah, joined the crowd, emphasizing the need for justice for Justice Crack, whose next court date is set for May 26, indicating he will remain in detention for at least another month.
