Protest at Abuja Court Demands Release of Blogger Justice Crack

On Monday, a protest erupted at the Federal High Court in Abuja concerning the detention of blogger Justice Crack. Tensions escalated when youth formed a human barricade around security operatives as they attempted to escort individuals from the court premises following an arraignment.

Protesters chanted for the immediate release of Justice Crack, labeling his detention as unjust. They called for intervention from the Minister of Justice and the Attorney General of the Federation, emphasizing that the peaceful protest was a constitutional right.

Notable activists, including Omoyele Sowore and Peter Akah, were present to support the call for Justice Crack's release. The protest intensified as it was reported that Justice Crack's next court appearance is scheduled for May 26, indicating that he has been detained for several weeks.

Security operatives maintained a heavy presence at the court complex, and the atmosphere remained tense throughout the demonstration.
