Nigerian Army Arrests Influencer Justice Crack for Incitement

The Nigerian Army has confirmed the arrest of social media influencer Justice Chidieber, also known as Justice Crack, due to his alleged involvement in inciting discontent among soldiers through social media posts. Preliminary investigations revealed that Chidieber engaged in discussions with soldiers that extended beyond welfare concerns, potentially undermining military discipline and national security.

The Army's statement, issued by Colonel Appolonia Anel, emphasized that Chidieber's actions breached social media policies aimed at preventing misinformation. Following his arrest, which occurred alongside a soldier involved in the matter, Chidieber was transferred to civil authorities for further investigation and possible prosecution.

His wife has publicly expressed confusion and concern over his sudden disappearance, appealing to the government for his return, especially for the sake of their six-year-old daughter. Activist Omoyele Sowore has condemned the arrest and called for Chidieber's immediate release, raising alarms about potential extrajudicial actions against civilians.
