Terrorists Kill Four Soldiers, One Civilian in Borno Attack

On Wednesday, around 12 PM, a terrorist attack occurred in Mussa Community, located in Askira Uba Local Government Area, Borno, resulting in the deaths of four soldiers and one civilian. The civilian victim, identified as a woman, was killed during the assault.

The attack was confirmed on Thursday by local government chairman Mada Saidu. Military sources, speaking on the condition of anonymity, reported that the slain soldiers were part of the 115 Task Force Battalion stationed in the area.

The attack involved a small number of terrorists who aimed to infiltrate the community, but the troops managed to stand their ground despite the assault. Unfortunately, four soldiers lost their lives during the incident, which lasted approximately 30 minutes and was marked by heavy gunfire.

Residents reported fleeing their homes in panic as the situation escalated, highlighting the ongoing violence targeting both civilians and military personnel in the region.
