Boko Haram Attack Claims Lives of Four Soldiers in Borno

On Wednesday, around 12 PM, a terrorist attack in Mussa Community, Askira Uba Local Government Area, Borno State, resulted in the deaths of four soldiers and one civilian. The attack was confirmed by local government chairman Mada Saidu, who reported that the civilian casualty was a woman.

The soldiers were part of the 115 Task Force Battalion, which was engaged in efforts to prevent terrorists from infiltrating the town. Despite their defense, the attack led to significant destruction in the community, prompting residents to flee as gunfire erupted for approximately 30 minutes.

The military source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, indicated that the insurgents aimed to coordinate an attack but were met with resistance from the troops. This incident marks the latest in a series of assaults targeting both civilians and military personnel across Borno State.
