Boko Haram Attack Kills Four Soldiers in Borno State

On Wednesday, a coordinated attack by suspected Boko Haram terrorists resulted in the deaths of four soldiers and one civilian in Mussa, located in the Askira Uba Local Government Area of Borno State. The assault occurred around noon, prompting residents to flee due to the heavy gunfire that echoed across the area.

Mada Saidu, the chairman of Askira Uba LGA, confirmed the incident on Thursday. Military sources indicated that the slain soldiers were part of the 115 Task Force Battalion, which was engaged in efforts to repel the attack and prevent the insurgents from infiltrating the community.

Despite the attack, the troops succeeded in stopping the terrorists from gaining access to the town. The incident is part of a series of attacks targeting military formations in the region.
