Terrorists Kill Three Policemen in Fresh Katsina Attack

In a fresh attack in Katsina State, Nigeria, terrorists ambushed a police patrol along Guga Bakori Road, resulting in the death of three policemen and injuries to two others. The attack occurred on a Tuesday at 12:44 p.m.

The slain officers were part of the Mobile Police (MOPOL) attached to the Guga detachment. The patrol vehicle was extensively damaged during the ambush, which also saw the officers successfully repelling the assailants.

The injured officers were rushed to Bakori General Hospital for treatment. This incident comes despite a recent peace agreement with armed groups in the Bakori and Kankara local government areas, which had initially led to a reduction in attacks.
