Wale Adenuga Explains Dismissal of Papa Ajasco Actor

Wale Adenuga, a veteran filmmaker, revealed the reasons behind the dismissal of actor Abiodun Ayoyinka from the role of Papa Ajasco. The dismissal was attributed to serious misconduct, specifically Ayoyinka's attempt to claim ownership of the Papa Ajasco brand.

This conflict reportedly escalated when Ayoyinka organized a tour in the United States using the Papa Ajasco name without informing the production team. The situation intensified when the Nigerian Copyright Commission discovered that Ayoyinka attempted to register the brand name, despite the production team already holding legal rights to it.

Adenuga described this act as a betrayal that led to Ayoyinka's dismissal. However, despite the controversy, Ayoyinka was later brought back to the role based on his talent rather than personal feelings.

Adenuga emphasized the need for reform in the current system to ensure fair compensation and support for actors in the industry.
