Wale Adenuga Responds to Ayoyinka's Papa Ajasco Claims

Wale Adenuga, the chief executive officer of Wale Adenuga Productions, addressed allegations made by veteran Nollywood actor Abiodun Ayoyinka, known for his long-standing role in the television series "Papa Ajasco." Ayoyinka claimed that he was not properly compensated despite his significant contribution to the show. In a statement released on Wednesday, Adenuga clarified that Ayoyinka is not barred from taking advertising jobs but must seek official approval to protect the Papa Ajasco brand.

He emphasized that the brand's identity must be safeguarded, which is standard practice. Adenuga also highlighted Ayoyinka's versatility as an actor and noted that he has had a long career as a civil servant in Lagos State, serving for three decades as part of the state's cultural troupe.

He reiterated that cast members, including Ayoyinka, typically spend six weeks annually on set, allowing ample time for other ventures.
