Igbokwe Critiques ADC Supporters Over Tinubu Protest

Joe Igbokwe, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), criticized supporters of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for their protest against President Bola Tinubu, which took place at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) headquarters in Abuja on Wednesday. Igbokwe referred to the ADC supporters as "clueless kids" and suggested they should be "tamed." His remarks were made in a Facebook post, where he questioned why Tinubu had not yet completed his first term in office and expressed frustration over the ADC's leadership crisis.

The protest aimed to express grievances regarding INEC's position and leadership issues within the ADC. Additionally, it was reported that the ADC had faced challenges in securing access to major public venues for their national convention, with their request to use Eagle Square reportedly denied, and the Velodrome also rejecting their application.
