Joe Igbokwe Critiques 'Tinubu Must Go' Protests in Abuja

Joe Igbokwe, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), expressed his views on the recent protests demanding the resignation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, which took place at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) headquarters in Abuja. The protests were organized by a coalition of opposition leaders, including supporters of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), who were heard chanting "Tinubu must go." Igbokwe took to his official Facebook page to question why Tinubu, who is currently completing his second term in office, has not resigned amid the protests.

He described the protesters as "street urchins" and "clueless kids," suggesting that they need to be "tamed" and trained, implying that they are misguided in their demands. Igbokwe's remarks reflect a broader political tension as opposition groups continue to challenge the legitimacy of Tinubu's presidency.
