Kaduna Kidnap Victims Narrate Harrowing Ordeal in Forest Captivity

Victims of a kidnapping incident in Kaduna State, Nigeria, where worshippers were abducted from a church in Kurmin Wali community, shared their harrowing experiences. The victims, including Hosea Madami, Rebecca Josiah, Philomena Jonathan, and Theresa Irimiya, endured constant abuse, harsh conditions, and deprivation during their two-week captivity in the forest.

They were rescued after spending 14 days in captivity, with some victims forced to walk barefoot, endure hunger, and face physical abuse. The victims were among the 11 who managed to escape, while others, mostly children, were found in a forest settlement.

Ishaku Dan Azumi, the village head of Kurmin Wali, expressed gratitude to the Kaduna State Government and security agencies for their efforts in ensuring the safe return of the abducted victims.
