Tinubu Orders Manhunt for Niger Market Killers Linked to Fleeing Terrorists

Nigerian President Bola Tinubu has directed the nation's security apparatus to launch a fierce manhunt for the perpetrators of the brutal massacre at Kasuwan Daji market in Niger State. The attack, which resulted in the deaths of at least 30 villagers and the abduction of scores of women and children, is believed to be connected to fleeing terrorists from US airstrikes.

Tinubu condemned the assault as a direct challenge to Nigeria's sovereignty and vowed to bring the terrorists to justice. The incident is seen as a fallout from US airstrikes in Sokoto State, displacing jihadist-affiliated groups towards Niger State.

Security forces are intensifying efforts to apprehend the suspects.
