Thiago Alcantara has returned to Barcelona as Hansi Flick's assistant coach, marking a significant move after retiring as a professional footballer earlier this year. Thiago, a former Spain international, will assist in tactical preparation, training sessions, and enriching the squad's daily activities.

His return to Barcelona, where he started his career at La Masia academy before leaving for Bayern Munich in 2013, is seen as a symbolic homecoming. The first training session coincided with the return of several international players to the squad, including Marcus Rashford and Jules Kounde.
