Three Arrested Over Murder of Abuja Lawyer; Suspects Confess to Theft and Ransom Attempt

Three individuals, Saifullahi Yusuf, Ishau Yusuf, and Minkailu Jibril, have been apprehended for the murder of an Abuja lawyer whose body was discovered alongside personal documents on the Kubwa Expressway. The suspects, residents of Kaduna state, were arrested by the Scorpion Squad led by ACP Victor Ogbeid.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the lawyer, Princess Chigbo, was unknowingly abducted by the suspects who later confessed to stealing her phone and selling it for N120,000 in the Dei Dei area. The suspects physically assaulted the victim, leading to her death.

The police are working to ensure justice is served.
